Challenge

UKI Law Faculty Alumni of the year 2000 proposed a memorable reunion event in 2015. The client requested to hold an alumni discussion about PERADI and commence the Election of Alumni Law Faculty of the Year 2000. The event was set in UKI Cawang inviting over 200 alumni.

Insight

As this event was held after their 12 years of graduation, this was a very important and memorable moment to them. We divided the event into 2 sessions. First is Formal session : Discussion and Election, and the second is informal session : Gathering. In the discussion session, we invited the Alumni representative and UKI Law Faculty's Dean to take the lead. In gathering session, we gave a strong touch of Batak culture in the entertainment and ceremony as most of the audiences were from north Sumatera. We created video looping from their memorable photos to build the ambience. To warm up the event, we held some games which involved all of the audience. The event ran very well. The audience came with enthusiasm. They attended the event and interacted actively with the MC. We felt the warmth and togetherness during the event. In the end, we closed the event by inviting everyone to sing and dance together.

Result

During the first session, where discussion and election was held, we appointed the Alumni representative and UKI Law Faculty's Dean to take the lead. Cultural entertainment was presented during the informal, gathering session, as most of the attendees came from North Sumatera. We made a video looping of their memorable photos played to set the nostalgic ambiance. Games, dance, and sing-along brought together all the guests, which resulted into a warm, comforting atmosphere.
