LPDB KUMKM
LPDB–KUMKM is an institution under the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia that plays a role in channeling financing to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through cooperatives. This initiative aims to encourage MSME business growth and strengthen the cooperative ecosystem in Indonesia.

Communic8 has been entrusted with managing LPDB–KUMKM's digital communications through social media, with a focus on program education, increasing awareness, and reaching a broader and more targeted MSME audience through relevant platforms.

LPDB–KUMKM's digital communication strategy is designed to simplify information about institutional financing programs for easy understanding by MSMEs. Communic8 develops educational and informative content packaged visually and communicatively, particularly on Instagram and TikTok, to increase audience engagement.

Social media advertising activation is executed in a measured manner to ensure LPDB–KUMKM program messages reach the right target audience in line with campaign objectives. This approach helps increase the effectiveness of information distribution while expanding the reach of government programs to businesses in need of financing.

Challenges and Insight

Challenges: The main challenge is communicating complex government financing programs to MSME audiences with varying levels of digital literacy. Furthermore, LPDB–KUMKM needs to ensure its messages remain credible, clear, and on-target amidst the abundance of digital information circulating.

Insight: Visual platforms like Instagram and TikTok have proven effective as educational media for MSMEs when presented with a simple and relevant approach. By combining educational content, short video formats, and targeted digital advertising, LPDB–KUMKM is able to reach a wider audience while increasing understanding of the financing programs offered.
